Job Description

The Role

We're looking for a Senior Data Analyst to play a key role in advancing NobleOak's data and AI capability. This is a permanent full-time opportunity to work at the centre of our data transformation, helping shape our data strategy, strengthen reporting and analytics, and deliver practical AI-driven solutions that create real business value.

This is a senior hands-on role that combines technical expertise, strategic influence and business partnering. Working closely with the Head of IT & AI, you'll help solve complex business challenges, influence how data is used across the organisation, and be a trusted voice on analytics, governance and emerging AI opportunities.

If you're passionate about turning data into meaningful business outcomes and want to help shape the future of data and AI within a growing organisation, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

As the Senior Data Analyst, you'll help drive NobleOak's data strategy and analytical capability, including:

Delivering trusted reporting and data insights that support business and strategic decision-making across the organisation.

Partnering with stakeholders across underwriting, claims, actuarial, distribution and leadership teams to translate business challenges into analytical solutions.

Leading the development and enhancement of data governance, data quality and reporting frameworks.

Designing and implementing AI and machine learning solutions to improve decision-making, efficiency and customer outcomes.

Delivering executive and Board-level reporting that provides clear, actionable insights.

Identifying trends, opportunities and risks through advanced analytics and data modelling.

Championing best practice in data governance, analytics, documentation and solution design.

Providing technical guidance and coaching to colleagues and stakeholders to build analytical capability across the business.

Working with business and technology teams to improve data quality, consistency and confidence in reporting.

Staying across emerging trends in analytics, AI, governance and regulation to help shape NobleOak's future data capability.

Desired Skills and Experience

What You Bring

7+ years' experience in data analytics, data science, business intelligence or a related discipline.

Strong expertise in data analysis, statistical modelling and generating meaningful business insights.

Experience developing reporting, dashboards and visualisations that support decision-making.

Strong skills in tools such as SQL, Python, R, Power BI or similar analytics platforms.

Experience with data governance, data quality and information management frameworks.

Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts and their practical application to business problems.

Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

A proactive, commercially minded approach with a passion for continuous improvement.

Experience within insurance or financial services will be highly regarded, with life insurance experience strongly preferred.
