Sr. Product Engineer – Spatial Data Science

Overview

Responsibilities

User experience and user interface design, testing, and documentation for agent-driven spatial analysis experiences

Design, test, and refine prompts to ensure LLM outputs are accurate, clear, and appropriate for spatial analysis workflows

Research and apply advances in LLMs, GeoAI, and related areas to advance our technical approaches

Create and ship quality software by working effectively in an agile, highly interactive, and creative team environment

Requirements

5+ years of experience doing applied spatial analysis and data science

Strong technical experience with ArcGIS Pro, including geoprocessing and ArcPy

Demonstrated experience in at least one programming language, Python or C# strongly preferred

Strong written communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, structured prompts for LLM-based systems

Bachelor's in GIS, geography, computer science, engineering, sciences, or a related field

Recommended Qualifications

Master's or PhD in GIS, geography, computer science, engineering, sciences, or a related field

Strong technical aptitude and interest in keeping up to date with innovations in the LLM and generative AI space

Experience working with LLMs

Experience translating user requirements into project requirements or product designs

Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with a diverse team
