Electrician

We are looking for a qualified Electrician to join our team delivering planned maintenance works across social housing properties in Reading.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in improving homes and delivering high-quality electrical installations within local communities. You'll work across a variety of planned programmes, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out electrical installations, testing, and remedial works within occupied and void social housing properties

Deliver works in line with 18th Edition regulations and current legislation

Complete inspection, testing, and fault finding (including certification)

Ensure all work meets quality, compliance, and safety standards

Provide an excellent customer experience when working in residents' homes

Accurately complete job sheets, reports, and certification

About You

We're looking for someone who is technically strong, customer-focused, and able to work independently.

You Will Have

✅ NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)

✅ 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

✅ 2391 Inspection & Testing (essential)

✅ Experience working within social housing or domestic planned works

✅ Strong knowledge of testing, inspection, and compliance requirements

✅ Full UK driving licence
