Data Analyst – SQL - 12 month contract

Your new role

Support the delivery of high‑quality analytics and reporting across the team.

Work extensively with complex datasets and enterprise‑scale SQL codebases, contributing to analytics initiatives that inform strategic and operational decisions.

Collaborate closely with both technical and business stakeholders, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights.

Analyse and interpret large datasets, read and optimise complex SQL scripts, contribute to data pipelines and dashboards, and leverage tools such as Python and Teradata to support analytics and data engineering activities where required.

What you'll need to succeed

A strong foundation in data and analytics, with advanced SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets in enterprise data warehouse environments.

Confidence reading, maintaining and improving complex SQL codebases, ideally within Teradata or similar platforms.

Experience with Python is highly regarded, along with the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.

Adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
