My client is undergoing a major ERP transformation, moving from a legacy Oracle system to Workday. This programme is a high-impact initiative focused on improving financial data integrity, reporting capability, and system efficiency.
Your new role
As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the data migration and validation activities across the ERP transformation.
You will be responsible for:
Extracting, transforming, and loading data using Excel (Power Query is essential)
Migrating and reconciling financial data from Oracle into Workday
Building data validation tools and frameworks to ensure accuracy and consistency
Identifying and resolving discrepancies across legacy and new systems
Developing dashboards and reporting using Power BI
Supporting testing phases including UAT and validation cycles
Documenting data mappings, business rules, and transformation logic
What you'll need to succeed
Strong experience as a Data Analyst in transformation or migration environments
Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query (mandatory)
Hands-on experience with Power BI (data modelling, DAX, dashboards)
Experience working on ERP transformations or data migration projects
Solid understanding of financial data and reconciliation processes
Strong attention to detail and data quality focus
Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Desirable:
Exposure to Oracle and/or Workday systems
Experience building reusable validation tools
SQL knowledge
