As Senior Manager, AI Enablement & Data Governance, you will translate cutting-edge AI capabilities into practical solutions that enhance productivity, strengthen decision-making, and improve how our content and narratives are discovered and represented.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll embed AI into everyday workflows, simplify processes, and ensure data is used responsibly and effectively—delivering measurable impact across International Communications & Patient Advocacy.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities
Translate AI strategy into practical, high-impact solutions across Communications and Patient Advocacy
Shape and manage a prioritized portfolio of AI and data initiatives aligned to business impact
Develop and implement business cases with clear, measurable value outcomes
Drive measurable productivity gains through streamlined processes and reduced duplication
Establish and maintain robust data governance standards across markets
Enable consistent use of tools, data sources, and performance metrics for decision-making
Monitor and improve how Novartis content appears in AI-driven and large language model environments
Partner cross-functionally with technology, legal, and compliance teams to ensure responsible AI adoption
Essential Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related technical field
Significant experience applying artificial intelligence or data solutions to deliver measurable business outcomes
Proven ability to translate artificial intelligence capabilities into practical use cases and scalable workflows
Hands-on experience with large language models and generative artificial intelligence tools in a business context
Strong understanding of data foundations, including data quality, taxonomy, and performance metrics
Experience simplifying processes and improving efficiency through automation or data-driven solutions
Proven track record driving adoption of new tools or ways of working across global, matrixed teams
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with technology, legal, and compliance teams
