SAP QA Engineer with Automation

Experienced Senior QA Engineer with 7+ years of expertise in manual and automated testing across web, API, and SAP applications. The ideal candidate will drive quality assurance initiatives, develop automation frameworks, validate complex business processes, and ensure high-quality releases through comprehensive testing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API testing.

Create and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test cases.

Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or SoapUI.

Validate SAP Fiori/UI5 applications, SAP GUI transactions, workflows, and integrations.

Manage test data, defect tracking, triage, and root cause analysis.

Collaborate with developers, product managers, data engineers, and stakeholders.

Validate front-end functionality and backend/API interactions.

Identify security, authorization, and data integrity issues.

Contribute to QA process improvements, tool evaluations, and proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives.

Required Skills

7+ years of QA experience in manual and automated testing.

Strong experience with Robot Framework, Playwright, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, and Tricentis Tosca.

Preferred Skills

Agile and DevOps testing practices.

Performance testing using JMeter or LoadRunner.

Test data management and environment setup.

Experience evaluating testing tools (e.g., Tosca vs. Robot Framework).

Exposure to AI-assisted test automation solutions.

SAP testing experience, including end-to-end business process validation.

Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript.

API testing, SQL, Git/GitHub, Jira, Zephyr, or TestRail.

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle.

Understanding of OData services, IDocs, and RFC-based integrations.

Strong analytical and data validation skills using SQL and Python (Pandas).
