Software Engineers at Visa look after the systems that form the core of the largest global payments network, allowing consumers and merchants to connect with financial institutions and provide a seamless payment experience. Our mission is to create the next generation of these core systems using the latest technologies to ensure we can maintain this trust going forward and ensure that Visa is ready for the challenges of the future.

Software Engineering graduates may work across development, test and support on cool things like:

Implementation of a single development lifecycle, from Analysis & Design, Build and QA to Security and Deployment.

Support the needs of a new application using technologies like Go, Java, REST Services, Micro Services Databases SQL & NoSQL, Docker, Hadoop, Bitbucket, Unix and Shell Scripting and more.

Develop tools to improve processes.

Qualifications

Current university student graduating in the summer 2026, ready to start work in September 2026.

Pursuing a Bachelor's/Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computer applications and its related field

Proficiency in at least one programming language or technology including, but not limited, to Java, C/C++, C#, .NET, python, Javascript, HTML, CSS and Objective-C

The ability to take on challenges and address problems head-on

Highly driven and resourceful

Strong ability to collaborate
