MAKING AN IMPACT
Reporting to the Manager, Talent, this is a 6-month contract opportunity for a people-centred, service-oriented Talent and People Coordinator who thrives on connecting with people and helping teams hire great talent. With a strong focus on recruitment coordination, you’ll also provide broader HR administrative support and build trusted relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and partners—bringing care and rigour to every interaction and process.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
1. Recruitment administration
Manage all job postings
Create job postings
Coordinate the translation of job opportunities
Post job opportunities on various job boards
Interview process administration
Schedule interviews with candidates
Book rooms/virtual links when needed, confirm attendees, manage reschedules/cancellations
Ensure interview panel has all materials needed for the interviews
Collect interviewer feedback and follow up on missing interview notes
Save all TA collateral to the SharePoint
Candidate communications & inbox management
Respond to candidate inquiries, status updates, rejection communications per CCS standard communication templates
Template updates as required
Onboarding
Collaborate with HR Specialists for smooth transition from recruitment to onboarding
Conduct background and reference verifications
Communicate with candidate during the reference check process
Create and submit new hire onboarding IT ticket
Update all appropriate employee resources accordingly
Reporting
Track all upcoming start dates for new hires to ensure equipment arrives on time
Maintain the recruitment trackers to ensure it is accurate and up to date when supporting the talent acquisition team with mandates
2. Internship/student program coordination
Research and present findings for funding opportunities for students/interns, etc.
3. Support broader talent initiatives
Coordinate and support day-to-day talent activities, ensuring a consistent and positive experience for candidates and employees
Maintain accurate records, trackers, and documentation; support reporting and basic data quality checks
Support Talent initiatives and projects by organizing logistics, updating resources, and assisting with process improvements (i.e. SharePoint cleanup, passwords keeper vault management)
Assist with employer branding initiatives that may include social media posts, career fair planning, and other outreach activities to raise employer brand awareness and career opportunities
Contribute to our culture of diversity, inclusion, belonging and equity (DIBE) by ensuring that all staff feel represented, valued, and heard across all aspects of their identity, including gender, age, religion, ethnicity, nationality, race, and sexuality.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Adaptable and tech-comfortable, energized by fast-moving work.
Confidence with Microsoft Office; ATS (ADP or other)/HRIS are required.
Clear communicator

Strong interpersonal skills: caring, collaborative team player and relationship builder
Solution focused and improvement-minded
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
Excellent organizational and time management skills, remains calm under pressure
Bilingualism (French/English) is highly preferred, with French being an asset due to the organization’s nationwide operations and the need for effective communication across various regions.
