The Role
We are looking for a Social Analyst to lead how we understand and act on social conversation globally
This role sits at the intersection of social listening, performance analytics, and AI-driven intelligence
You will move beyond dashboards to build a true intelligence function that informs decision-making across teams
You will help us proactively understand cultural trends, measure share of voice, optimize content, and identify risks and opportunities in real time
You Will
Lead global social listening efforts to monitor conversation, sentiment, and emerging trends across key audiences, including players, creators, and parents
Develop frameworks to measure and track share of voice (SOV), sentiment, and narrative ownership versus competitors and adjacent platforms
Design and implement AI and agentic AI workflows to scale monitoring, surface insights, and prioritize high-impact signals
Build systems that proactively identify trends, creator momentum, and potential risks or crises, and define thresholds for escalation
Analyze social content performance across platforms, identifying patterns and developing hypotheses to optimize creative, format, and distribution
Leverage tools such as Brandwatch, Meltwater or Tubular Labs and native analytics platforms to evaluate video performance and content trends
Own reporting across weekly readouts, campaign analyses, and QBRs, delivering clear, actionable insights
Operate with flexibility, delivering both quick-turn “pulse checks” and deep-dive analyses depending on business needs
Develop audience panels and monitoring systems to better understand specific communities, including creators, parents, and key user segments
Track and analyze top creators, influencers, and key voices to understand their impact on platform perception
Conduct competitive and industry analysis to understand what content, campaigns, and formats are driving success
Partner with international teams to ensure insights reflect both global trends and local market nuances
You Have
5+ years of experience in social analytics, social listening, or digital intelligence
Strong understanding of social platforms, content formats, and internet culture
Experience with social listening and analytics tools such as Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Talkwalker, or similar
Familiarity with video analytics platforms like Tubular Labs is a plus
Experience using or building with AI tools to scale analysis, automation, or insight generation
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable recommendations
Ability to operate at both high speed and high depth, from rapid assessments to structured reporting
Experience working cross-functionally with Marketing, Comms, Product, or Insights teams
Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders
High level of organization, curiosity, and proactive problem-solving
For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual hourly rate could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Please note that not all benefits shown on this page are applicable to this temporary position.
Monthly Salary Range
$10,048—$12,657.50 USD
Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
