Senior HR Business Partner - Operations & Finance Adyen is looking for a strategic and hands-on Senior HR Business Partner to support our Operations & Finance organizations in Amsterdam and globally. In this position, you will act as a trusted advisor to the CFO and Finance leadership while also supporting the global strategy of one of Adyen’s Operations domains. You will work end-to-end across the employee lifecycle, co-creating and driving people strategies that enable business growth, strong leadership, and an exceptional employee experience. This role is based in Amsterdam and works in close collaboration with regional HR Business Partners to ensure global consistency with strong local execution. What you’ll do:

Co-create and execute the global people strategy for Finance and a key Operations domain, in close partnership with senior leaders and regional HRBPs. Act as a trusted advisor to the CFO and Finance leadership, supporting organizational design, leadership effectiveness, and talent planning. Partner with Operations leaders on strategic workforce planning, team growth, and leadership capability in a global, high-growth environment. Provide strategic HR guidance and hands-on coaching to leaders on performance management, feedback, employee relations, and engagement. Lead performance and development cycles, enabling high-quality assessments, growth conversations, and succession planning. Collaborate with HR Centers of Expertise to design and implement people initiatives across the full employee lifecycle. Use people data and insights to identify trends, anticipate challenges, and drive data-informed improvements. Champion a culture of feedback, inclusion, and high performance, ensuring a strong employee experience at scale.

Who you are:

Min 6+ years of HRBP experience in a fast-paced, global, matrixed organization, partnering with all levels of leadership. Deep expertise in HR practices, including performance management and employee relations. Trusted advisor who builds strong relationships and thrives in an evolving, unstructured environment. A "builder" and change agent with a continuous improvement mindset, comfortable challenging the status quo to drive efficiency and cultural alignment. Adept at organizational dynamics, fostering healthy, motivated teams. Hands-on yet collaborative, always seeking simpler, more automated solutions. Exceptional problem-solver and communicator, able to develop and articulate fact-based solutions. Skilled in project managing HR initiatives.
