About the role
About RampRamp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $100B in annualized spend flows in and out of 50,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
About the Role As a key member of the People team, you will own Ramp's internal, recruiting, and non-growth events end-to-end — creating consistent, memorable experiences that reflect Ramp's culture and values. You will partner closely with People, Recruiting, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to design and execute events that engage employees, excite candidates, and bring the Ramp community together. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for a strong operator who thrives on building programs from the ground up.
What You'll Do- Own end-to-end planning and execution for all internal employee events (e.g., all-hands, culture events, holiday celebrations), recruiting events (e.g., candidate days, hiring events, employer brand activations), and team-specific events designs to gather top talent within the community in NYC and beyond.
- Partner with HR, Recruiting, and leadership to define event goals, measure success, shape programming, and ensure each experience reflects Ramp's culture and values.
- Manage all logistics — venue sourcing, vendor management, catering, run-of-show, communications, and onsite execution.
- Build scalable processes, templates, and systems that improve consistency and efficiency across the events calendar.
- Track event performance and gather feedback to continuously improve the employee and candidate experience.
- Manage budgets across the events portfolio, ensuring high-quality execution within allocated resources.
What You Need- 3+ years of experience in event management, people operations, HR, or a related function
- Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously with strong attention to detail and project management skills
- Strong communicator and cross-functional collaborator — comfortable working with executives, recruiters, and employees at all levels
- Self-starter who can build structure in ambiguous environments and adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Experience managing vendors, budgets, and logistics end-to-end
- Based in or willing to relocate to New York, NY and work out of our NY HQ event space at least 2-3 evenings per week during high-season.
Nice-to-Haves- Experience in a high-growth tech or startup environment
- Background spanning both internal/culture events and recruiting or employer brand events
- Familiarity with HR or ATS tools (e.g., Ashby, Workday, Greenhouse)

- Partially covered for your dependents
- One Medical annual membership
- 401k (including employer match on contributions made while employed by Ramp)

- Fertility HRA (up to $10,000 per year)
