Job Description:

In the HPE Hybrid Cloud, we lead the innovation agenda and technology roadmap for all of HPE. This includes managing the design, development, and product portfolio of our next-generation cloud platform, Green Lake. Working with customers, we help them reimagine their information technology needs to deliver a simple, consumable solution that helps them drive their business results. What you’ll do:

Function as an intermediate engineer with ability to work within minimal supervision on test executions including various types of testing such as functional, system, stress and customer centric scenarios for product installation, upgrade, product features and enhancements, of an enterprise product.

Contributes for the system test development, automation, and test execution activities required based on the product test requirements for several product features.

Responsibilities:

Debugs product and test issues.

Collaborates and communicates with partner development team contacts in test development, status, and product defect resolution.

Provides guidance and mentoring to junior test engineers.

Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

Typically 2-8 years experience.

What you need to bring:

Must Have Skills

Strong Background in Test Processes and Concepts

Expertise in testing enterprise products

Expertise in Unix/Linux Kernel environments

Test Plan creation, Test Execution and Test automation

Python Programming and Shell Scripting

- UI testing

Basic Understanding of Storage, Networking and Enterprise class Server hardware.

- UI automation - Selenium, Playright, xpath

AI Tools such as Microsoft Co-Pilot

- API automation - REST based automation

- Postman - REST API automation platform

Knowledge on Jenkins

GiT hub or similar source code management

Willing to learn (very high learn-ability)

Nice to Have Skills

Understanding of File / Block Storage / High Availability / Disaster Recovery / File System concepts

Automation Framework Development

Debugging Skills such as Crash Dump Analysis

Storage Concepts Understanding / Expertise (RAID, SAN, NAS, etc.,)

Good to have Virtualization knowledge
