Job Summary

Leads a team for effective management of investment funds proposition and services to maximize growth of bank’s fee-based income growth and Asset Under Management. In addition to that, leads a team to ensure CIO views are communicated effectively across branch network and in the community.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy

Building a business line that can sustainably grow income and AUM through comprehensive product proposition

Business

New product development

Manage the end-to-end development of investment products including but not limited to mutual funds to grow fee income revenue and assets under management across segments.

Lead product ideation or product sourcing, provider sourcing, product approval, provider approval, pricing strategy, seeking sponsorship, training to various segment including Personal, Preferred,Priority & Priority Private.

Establish new product marketing strategy including product direction, positioning strategy, pricing, promotion.

Investment P&L management:

Manage investment fee income revenue and related investment product activities required to meet corporate financial goals.

Manage cost to target cost/income ratio to meet department and organizational financial goals.

Processes

Product provider management

Conduct due diligence on new product provider and recommend to Group for approval.

Perform periodic due diligence and maintain recorded documentation on existing partners to ensure minimum provider standards are met.

Product marketing & management – Work with investment advisors to provide on-going product related support and activities to grow fee income and AUM. This includes but not limited to:

Collaborate effectively with IA Group and Local CPBB management to formulate and implement local investment fund services strategy and business plans within Group and Country guidelines, to achieve Investment Fund Services targets

Coordinate investment seminars to increase the level of knowledge and understanding of investments Funds.

Coordination of active product updates (internally and externally),

Prepare and coordinate portfolio rebalancing management to best adapt to market conditions.

Regulatory compliance

Regulatory submission & reporting, and adherence to regulations governing unit trust sales and distribution.

People & Talent

Constantly upskill, reskill and train key stakeholders (client relationship teams and IA teams)

Risk Management

Regulatory and group guideline compliance related to sales & distribution of unit trust.

Governance of onboarded unit trust solutions.

Governance

Ensure the implementation of appropriate systems and operational procedures to support investment sales and securities transactions and the effective administration of customer accounts.

Implement appropriate rules and guidelines to ensure that all internal and external, legal, compliance and risk management requirements are met within IA- related sales and service activity.

Product record keeping, manage corporate actions with related stakeholders and manage interface with internal stakeholders and external product providers.

Regulatory & Business Conduct

Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
