Warehouse Manager (Manufacturing)
About the role
Job Responsibilities
Manage the overall warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, material handling, and shipping activities.
Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes to improve productivity, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
Ensure timely receipt and issuance of raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and production supplies.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock audits.
Coordinate closely with the Production, Planning, Purchasing, Logistics, and Quality teams to support daily operations.
Lead, supervise, and develop the warehouse team to achieve operational targets and maintain high performance.
Ensure compliance with warehouse safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor warehouse space utilization and recommend improvements for storage efficiency.
Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Prepare warehouse reports, inventory analysis, and operational KPIs for management review.
Oversee the performance of warehouse equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of warehouse management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse operations and reduce operational costs.
Perform any other duties assigned by the management.
At least 2 years of experience leading a warehouse team.
Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations, material handling, and stock control procedures.
Experience with ERP/WMS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Familiarity with FIFO, cycle counting, stock reconciliation, and warehouse KPI management.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in the plastic injection moulding or manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
