Job Responsibilities
Manage daily customs operations, including import and export documentation, customs declarations, and shipment clearance.
Ensure full compliance with Malaysian Customs regulations, company policies, and statutory requirements.
Prepare, review, and maintain customs documentation, including import/export permits, declarations, invoices, packing lists, and Certificates of Origin.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents, logistics providers, and government authorities to ensure smooth customs clearance.
Monitor customs duty, tax exemptions, tariff classifications (HS Codes), and trade compliance requirements.
Liaise with the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMCD) on customs-related matters, audits, inspections, and regulatory updates.
Ensure timely submission of customs reports and maintain accurate records for audit purposes.
Support customs compliance initiatives, process improvements, and internal audits.
Investigate customs-related discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Perform any other duties assigned by the management.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of working experience in customs, import/export, or trade compliance within a manufacturing environment.
Good knowledge of Malaysian Customs regulations, import/export procedures, and trade compliance requirements.
Experience with customs documentation, HS Code classification, duty exemption procedures, and customs audits.
Experience in Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) operations will be an added advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or equivalent is an advantage).
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
