Our client is an established metal fabricator and assembler, our client have a range of production facilities to meet the needs of customers for fabricated semi finished metal products and metal parts as well as assembly of finished products. Job Expected Results:

1) All on hand project must be completed on time with high performance.

2) Achievable on time completion with organise and prioritize the variety of project and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner.

3) Clearly and concisely deliver instructions to the team to achieve department Quality Objective.

Responsibilities:

1) Senior engineers are effective communicators, able to motivate a team, and have excellent organization skills.

2) To organize and to prioritize the variety of project and multiple task in an effective and timely manner.

3) Senior engineers prepare, coordinate, and monitor a project, from the initial conception to the schedule and final completion with high performance.

4) Adept at spotting potential problems and finding appropriate solutions.

5) Senior engineers perform quality control checks throughout all stages of the schedule to ensure budgets are kept, deadlines are met, and the performance of the team is as it should be.

6) Senior engineers oversee diverse teams of people, giving clear instructions, and effectively managing the team’s performance, motivating it, and keeping up morale, particularly during busy periods.

7) To check that staff members perform their duties to a high standard to ensure the project runs smoothly, overseeing the needs of the client, and finding ways to improve processes.

8) Senior engineer will assign tasks and responsibilities to members of the team so that everything is completed on time. This involves mentoring the project team and managing its performance.

9) Flexibility – often on stressful projects, unexpected issues arise. Good senior engineers have the flexibility to adapt to new systems and processes, finding ways to work around these problems.

10) Communication is key to this role and includes letting the team know of any updates or problems, as well as providing assistance and support whenever necessary.

11) Senior engineers monitor the compliance of the project to ensure that industry codes and practices are adhered to, quality assurance policies are followed, and performance standards are met.

Qualifications, Experience, Skill, Abilities and Knowledge:

1) Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or in a related field.

2) 5 – 8 years of experience working in sheet metal fabrication manufacturing environment.

3) Good in analytical with exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability.

4) Must be self-motivated and a great team worker.

5) Experience using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar.

6) Project management experience including developing project plans and timelines and tracking project progress.

7) Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability.

8) Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
