Job Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the full spectrum of monthly payroll processing accurately and within the required timeline.
Process monthly payroll including basic salary, overtime, allowances, incentives, deductions, unpaid leave, claims, bonuses, and other payroll adjustments.
Verify and consolidate employee attendance, working hours, overtime, leave, and other payroll-related information.
Ensure accurate payroll calculation and conduct thorough payroll checking and reconciliation before submission for payment.
Manage and process monthly statutory contributions including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB/MTD, and other applicable statutory requirements.
Prepare and submit statutory reports and payments within the required deadlines.
Handle new joiners, resignations, transfers, salary adjustments, promotions, and employee movements in the payroll system.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee payroll records and ensure proper filing of payroll-related documents.
Handle payroll enquiries from employees and provide clarification on salary, overtime, deductions, statutory contributions, and other payroll matters.
Work closely with the Production Department to verify shift schedules, attendance, overtime, and manpower-related payroll information.
Manage payroll matters for local and foreign workers, including relevant deductions, allowances, and statutory requirements.
Prepare monthly payroll reports, headcount reports, overtime reports, payroll analysis, and other management reports.
Assist in annual payroll-related activities including EA forms, Form E, CP8D, and other statutory submissions.
Ensure payroll processes comply with the Malaysia Employment Act, statutory requirements, and company policies.
Liaise with government agencies and statutory bodies such as EPF, SOCSO, LHDN, and EIS when required.
Assist with payroll audits and provide relevant payroll documentation and reports when required.
Identify payroll discrepancies and implement appropriate corrective actions.
Maintain strict confidentiality of employee salary and personal information.
Review and improve payroll processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
Assist with other HR functions and projects as assigned by Management.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 4–6 years of relevant payroll experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Strong hands-on experience managing full-cycle monthly payroll for a sizable workforce.
Good knowledge of Malaysia payroll practices and statutory requirements, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB/MTD, and LHDN requirements.
Familiar with Employment Act 1955, overtime calculation, working hours, leave, public holidays, and other employment-related requirements.
Experience handling shift workers, overtime, allowances, and attendance-based payroll is highly preferred.
Experience handling payroll for foreign workers will be an added advantage.
Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and payroll systems.
Experience with HRIS/payroll software is highly preferred.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet strict payroll deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to handle confidential information with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
Able to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision.
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
