About the role

OSM Thome is looking for an experienced 3rd Officer for oil/chemical tankers trading worldwide. Join our vessel team and support safe and efficient deck and cargo operations in a professional international environment.

Key responsibilities:

Stand navigational watch and ensure safe passage at sea and in port

Assist with cargo operations, tank inspections and line-up checks

Monitor and maintain safety and firefighting equipment

Update charts, publications and navigational equipment

Support the implementation of SMS, ISM, ISPS and company procedures

Requirements:

Valid 3rd Officer (OOW Deck) license, meeting STCW requirements

Previous experience on oil/chemical tankers preferred

Valid tanker endorsements and all required STCW certificates

Good spoken and written English

Medically fit for sea service and ready to join worldwide
