The Senior Manager Healthcare Networks is responsible for the end-to-end service management and business relationship management of healthcare hospital network services, acting as the primary interface between Global Network Services, internal customers, and site stakeholders.

The role combines strong technical network expertise with service ownership, stakeholder management, people leadership, operational governance, and continuous improvement. The incumbent leads a team of approximately 4–5 employees whose main focus is to understand internal customer and site needs, ensure stable and compliant network operations, coordinate service delivery, and drive customer-oriented improvements.

The role is accountable for the reliability, continuity, and quality of healthcare hospital network services, including availability for escalation and coordination during P1 or other business-critical incidents.

Your responsibilities:

Provide disciplinary and technical leadership to a team of approximately 4–5 employees, including people development, target agreements, feedback meetings, deployment planning, workload prioritization, and resource planning.

Act as service manager and business relationship manager for healthcare hospital network services, ensuring that internal customer and site requirements are understood, prioritized, translated into service actions, and communicated transparently.

Manage the main stakeholder relationship with the internal client, including regular service alignment, expectation management, issue escalation, demand coordination, and follow-up on agreed actions.

Maintain strong technical ownership of healthcare hospital network services, including LAN, corporate Wi-Fi, firewall, perimeter connectivity, site network integration, and related operational standards.

Ensure stable, secure, and compliant operation of healthcare hospital networks, recognizing their business-critical role in supporting clinical and hospital operations.

Be available as escalation contact for P1 and other business-critical incidents, coordinate technical analysis and service restoration with internal teams and external providers, and ensure clear communication to stakeholders during major incidents.

Manage, coordinate, and assure the quality of external service providers, ensuring agreed service levels, operational processes, documentation standards, and customer commitments are fulfilled.

Your qualifications:

Degree in computer science, completed vocational training as an IT specialist in system integration, business informatics, network engineering, or comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.

Several years of experience in network infrastructure, IT service management, business relationship management, and classic or agile IT projects, including proven experience leading employees and cross-functional project teams.

Very in-depth knowledge of healthcare hospital network services, network architecture, design principles, service management, and operating models.

Strong technical background in LAN, corporate Wi-Fi, firewall, perimeter connectivity, site network integration, network security, monitoring, and operational support processes.

Experience in defining architectural standards, target architecture, operational standards, and service improvement roadmaps for business-critical network environments.

Relevant network, IT service management, or project management certifications, such as CCNP, CCIE, ITIL, PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent, are an advantage.

Experience as a service manager, business relationship manager, technical lead, architect, or sub-project manager in a complex enterprise IT environment.

Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, stakeholder management, and expectation management skills, including the ability to lead a team of approximately 4–5 employees.

High customer and service orientation, with the ability to translate internal customer and site requirements into service priorities, operational actions, and continuous improvement measures.

Strong conceptual and strategic thinking skills, including confident interaction with management, internal clients, site stakeholders, vendors, service providers, and external partners.
