Full-Time Position
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Facilities Worker / Handyman to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and taking pride in maintaining safe, functional, and well-presented facilities across our sites.
The successful candidate will have strong practical skills, a proactive attitude, and experience completing general maintenance tasks. You will work closely with managers and the facilities team to ensure maintenance issues are identified, actioned, and completed efficiently.
About the Role
This is a hands-on position responsible for supporting the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of our facilities. No two days will be the same, with a mixture of preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and general handyman duties.
Key responsibilities include:
Completing general repairs and maintenance tasks across sites
Conducting preventative maintenance checks and identifying potential issues before they become major problems
Basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, patching, and repair work
Assembly, installation, and replacement of fixtures, fittings, and equipment
Troubleshooting and repairing general facility issues
Assisting with site improvements and maintenance projects
Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organised manner
Responding to maintenance requests and completing jobs within required timeframes
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with workplace procedures
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in a facilities, maintenance, trade assistant, or handyman role
Strong general maintenance and repair skills
Ability to confidently assess issues and find practical solutions
Good communication skills and a professional approach when working across different sites
Ability to work independently and manage priorities
Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work
A current driver’s licence
Trade qualifications are highly regarded but not essential for the right candidate with strong hands-on experience.
