Project Supervisors work directly with our Project Managers to ensure the correct execution and timely completion of projects. Supervising operations personnel and working on various projects in the field ensures the Project Supervisor is always on the move. With their extensive construction/restoration experience, strong organizational abilities, and passion for getting work done on time and under budget, the Project Supervisor is key to On Side’s success.
Compensation
Salary Range: $36 – $40 /hour

What You’ll Do
Collaborating with Project Managers to organize and execute scope of work
Communicating with Project Managers, direct reports, and home owners
Leading teams on site (sometimes multiple sites) including in house staff, sub-trades while collaborating with other tradespeople, vendors, clients, and environmental consultants to achieve outcomes
Monitor and maintain schedules, communicating with stakeholders regularly to ensure customer satisfaction
Documentation of site visits and job progress
Site Safety Inspections
Training rebuild team
Working on the tools as required
What You Bring
5+ years of Construction or Restoration Repair related experience
1+ years in a supervisory role
Working knowledge of building codes, building materials and schedule of timeline to complete tasks
Working within a budget to get a job done
Leadership abilities and a preference for teamwork
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Previous experience with flood and fire damage (preferred)
Commercial and residential experience – renovation/restoration vs new build
Superior communication skills: dealing with homeowners, Project Managers, Stakeholders and employees
Finish Carpentry and Drywall experience (ability to work tools as needed)
Tech savvy, ability to document and upload work progress
Strong Organizational skills
Valid driver’s licence and a clean criminal record (we do check)

Disasters can strike at any time so a rotating schedule of 24/7 after hours on-call work is a requirement. Meaning you’ll work regular weekday hours and participate in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule.

Are you able to work a Rotating On-Call Schedule (responding to emergency calls after hours)? This is additional to scheduled day time hours. Premium and overtime paid.

This Other role pays $75k-$83k/yr. Within typical range for other roles in Canada.
