Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Position Description:

We are looking for an experienced Accessibility Tester to ensure web, mobile, and enterprise applications comply with accessibility standards and provide an inclusive user experience for people with disabilities.

Responsibilities:

Perform accessibility testing for web, mobile, and desktop application.

. Evaluate applications against WCAG 2.1/2.2, Section 508, ADA, and other accessibility standards.

. Conduct both automated and manual accessibility testing.

. Identify, document, and track accessibility defects and remediation recommendations.

. Validate accessibility fixes and perform regression testing.

. Test applications using various assistive technologies.

. Collaborate with developers and UX/UI teams to implement accessibility best practices.

. Review design mockups and requirements from an accessibility perspective.

. Prepare accessibility audit reports and compliance documentation.

. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

. Advocate accessibility awareness and best practices across project teams.

Must-Have Skills:

Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA/AAA Guidelines.

Experience with accessibility testing tools:

Axe DevTools

WAVE

Accessibility Insights

Lighthouse

JAWS

NVDA

VoiceOver

TalkBack

Experience in manual accessibility testing.

Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ARIA standards.

Knowledge of keyboard navigation and screen reader testing.

Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• • Experience testing mobile applications (iOS/Android).

Accessibility certifications such as:

CPACC (Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies)

WAS (Web Accessibility Specialist)

Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
