Job Summary
The System Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the hospital's IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of servers, networks, Hospital Information Systems (HIS), and other critical applications. The role focuses on system security, data backup, troubleshooting, and providing technical support to hospital staff.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers.
Manage the Hospital Information System (HIS), EMR/EHR, LIS, PACS, and other healthcare applications.
Monitor server performance and ensure maximum uptime.
Manage Active Directory, user accounts, permissions, and Group Policies.
Configure and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi.
Perform regular data backups and disaster recovery testing.
Install, configure, and update antivirus and endpoint security software.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, printer, and email issues.
Ensure compliance with hospital IT security policies and data privacy requirements.
Coordinate with software vendors and external IT service providers.
Maintain IT asset inventory and software license records.
Monitor system logs and implement preventive maintenance.
Provide technical support and training to hospital staff.
Prepare IT documentation, SOPs, and incident reports.
Support NABH documentation and IT-related compliance requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience as a System Administrator (hospital experience preferred).
Certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco (CCNA), VMware, or Linux are an advantage.
Required Skills
Windows Server and Linux administration.
Active Directory and DNS/DHCP management.
Network administration and troubleshooting.
Virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
Database basics (SQL Server/MySQL).
Backup and disaster recovery.
Cybersecurity and firewall management.
Knowledge of Hospital Information Systems (HIS), EMR/EHR, LIS, and PACS.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
99.9% system uptime.
Timely resolution of IT support tickets.
Successful daily backup completion.
Zero critical security incidents.
Compliance with NABH IT standards.
User satisfaction with IT support.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
