Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Position Description:

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications. The ideal candidate should have experience in test automation, CI/CD integration, and Agile environments.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.

. Create and execute end to end, functional, regression, and smoke test suites.

. Analyze business requirements and prepare test automation scenarios.

. Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.

. Collaborate with development and business teams to identify test requirements and acceptance criteria.

. Review existing automation frameworks and recommend improvements.

. Execute automated and manual tests when required and analyze test results.

. Report, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.

. Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Agile ceremonies.

. Ensure automation scripts are maintainable, reusable, and scalable.

. Support release validation and production readiness activities.

Must-Have Skills:

Strong experience in Playwright automation framework.

. Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript.

. Experience in web application testing and UI automation.

. Knowledge of test frameworks such as Playwright Test Runner.

. Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.

. Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

. Experience working with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

. Good understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies.

. Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.

Good-to-Have Skills:

. Experience with accessibility testing.

. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.

. Experience in performance or security testing is an added advantage.

. Understanding of database testing and SQL queries.
