Position summary: Provides lead-level delivery and SME support for Order Engineering applications, balancing hands-on development with domain guidance and knowledge transfer.

Key responsibilities

Own design and delivery for assigned order and replenishment application areas.

Develop and support Java, SQL, PL/SQL, and shell-scripted components.

Analyze production issues and provide root-cause guidance.

Translate business processes into technical changes and backlog items.

Support documentation, KT, and reverse KT for critical application areas.

Mentor team members and maintain coding/testing standards.

Required technical skills

Order management, replenishment, and batch/interface flows

Business continuity for critical merchandising processes

Minimum experience

8-10+ years engineering experience

Lead or SME experience in retail/order systems preferred

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead a team of developers in the design, development, and implementation of software solutions using python, pl/sql, and java.

2. Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements and create project timelines.

3. Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

4. Troubleshoot technical issues, identify and implement solutions to enhance system performance and reliability.

5. Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend software upgrades to optimize operational efficiency.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficient in python programming language with experience in developing and implementing python based solutions.

2. Strong expertise in pl/sql for database management, querying, and optimization.

3. In-depth knowledge of java programming language for application development and system integration.

4. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical issues.

5. Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively lead a team and interact with stakeholders.

Other Requirements

1.Relevant certifications in python, PL/SQL, and Java are a plus.
