About the role
Position Overview
InvestCloud is looking for a Senior Release Engineer to join our team. In this high-impact, senior individual contributor role, you will be the driving force behind our release orchestration, dependency management, and production readiness across multiple systems and applications.
We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter with a passion for computing who can evaluate our current environment, define and optimize our release processes, and implement industry best practices. Operating with significant autonomy, you will influence delivery outcomes and drive alignment across multi-disciplinary engineering and business teams without direct people management responsibilities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support
Report to the Manager of Platform Operations while effectively interfacing with development, QA, and operations teams.
Drive alignment and execution across cross-domain enterprise releases.
Maintain best practices for technical operations and actively participate in team brainstorming sessions.
Provide off-hours on-call support as needed by following an assigned on-call calendar.
Requirements & Qualifications

Technical Expertise
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, release automation, change management, and software engineering best practices.
Familiarity with modern release and orchestration tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or similar platforms.
Working knowledge of AWS or comparable cloud infrastructure platforms.
Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and deployment methodologies.
Flexibility to work an assigned US Eastern Time (ET) or Pacific Time (PT) shift.
