About the role
Mission Brief
As (Junior) Executive Assistant within the CEO Office, you will work alongside our Chief of Staff and Senior Executive Assistant to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the CEO Office.
This is an exceptional opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to gain first-hand experience supporting a founder and CEO of one of Europe's most ambitious space companies. You'll be exposed to high-level meetings, international travel, government representatives and strategic partners while learning what excellence in executive support looks like.
No two days are the same. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and understands that no task is too small when supporting the CEO.
Your Role in Our Space Mission:
Coordinate and prepare meetings and appointments
Welcome and host visitors, partners and VIP guests
Organize meeting logistics, catering and conference room preparation
Support calendar management and scheduling in close collaboration with the Senior Executive Assistant
Plan, book and coordinate domestic and international business travel
Accompany the CEO on selected business trips and ensure flawless on-site execution
Represent the CEO Office during events, meetings and external engagements when required
Act as the primary point of contact during business trips and support the CEO on site
Step in for the Senior Executive Assistant during vacations or absences and ensure seamless continuity
Prepare travel itineraries, briefing documents and expense reports
Coordinate with hotels, airlines, transportation providers and external service partners
Handle correspondence and administrative tasks with professionalism and discretion
Conduct research and prepare presentations and documents
Manage office supplies, ad hoc requests and operational tasks
Take ownership of special projects and support the CEO Office wherever needed
Qualification Checklist
2–4 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, Team Assistant or in a comparable administrative role
Bachelor's degree required; a degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications, or a related field is preferred
Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
Strong communication skills with the confidence to interact professionally at all levels
Proficient with Microsoft Office and modern collaboration tools
Highly reliable, proactive and solution-oriented
Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities change quickly
Willing to travel regularly, sometimes on short notice
Flexible regarding working hours when business requires it
Absolute discretion, professionalism and integrity
Hands-on mentality with the attitude that no task is beneath you
Curious, eager to learn and motivated by working closely with senior leadership
Fluent in English and German
