About the role
Key Responsibilities
ELK Stack Management: Deploy, configure, scale, and manage multi-node Elasticsearch clusters, Logstash log pipelines, and Kibana visualizations/dashboards.
Observability & Alerting: Build automated monitoring, log aggregation, index lifecycle management (ILM), and alerting rules for application/infrastructure health.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate ELK deployments and infrastructure management using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
CI/CD Integration: Embed observability tools into DevOps CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and Kubernetes clusters.
Performance Tuning & Security: Optimize query performance, manage cluster sharding, enforce Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and oversee index retention schedules.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
4+ years of DevOps/SRE experience with specific expertise in the ELK/Elastic Stack.
Proficiency with Linux administration, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible) and scripting (Python, Bash, or Go).
Deep understanding of log parsing (Grok filters), metrics collection, security logging, and APM.
Elastic Certified Analyst or Engineer certification is a strong plus.
