We are looking for…

An experienced Senior Consultant – Client Identity & Access Management (IAM) to help the client strengthen and mature its global Client IAM capability.

This is a strategic consulting assignment rather than a hands-on engineering role. You will analyse existing Client IAM processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and design a future-state operating model that supports secure, compliant and consistent access management across multiple international regions.

Working closely with business and technology stakeholders, you will help shape the governance, processes and roadmap that underpin Client Identity & Access Management for one of the world’s leading financial market infrastructures.

About the role

As a Senior Consultant – Client Identity & Access Management (IAM), you will be responsible for analysing and improving the business processes that govern how professional clients are onboarded, managed and removed throughout their lifecycle.

Rather than implementing new technology, you will optimise the use of existing IAM capabilities, ensuring processes are efficient, well-governed and aligned with regulatory expectations.

You will

Analyse the current Client IAM operating model.

Map and document existing business processes.

Identify governance gaps, operational inefficiencies and compliance risks.

Design future-state Client IAM processes.

Develop a two-year maturity roadmap.

Define opportunities for automation using existing IAM tooling.

Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders across multiple countries.

Align Client IAM processes across Europe, the US and APAC.

Advise senior management on governance improvements and implementation priorities.

Translate business requirements into structured, scalable operating processes.

Experience

7+ years of experience in Client Identity & Access Management (CIAM), Customer IAM or IAM Governance.

Proven experience with business process modelling and process optimisation.

Strong understanding of Identity Governance and Access Governance.

Experience designing operating models and governance frameworks.

Background delivering consultancy assignments within complex organisations.

Experience in banking, financial services, capital markets or clearing environments is highly desirable.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Comfortable working independently with senior business stakeholders.

Nice to have

Experience with SailPoint.

Knowledge of Identity Governance & Administration (IGA).

Experience with professional client onboarding and lifecycle management.

Understanding of regulatory requirements relating to access governance.
