
Senior Associate, Specialist, Employee Relations
About the role
Job Purpose
Employee Relations is an important and critical function within HR responsible for creating and driving the right culture and creating a safe environment for Employees. The function is responsible for end-to-end management of all Employee Relations activities including Grievance, Disciplinary, ex-employee litigation, Prevention of Sexual Harassment cases & review of related policies/processes/guidelines, regulatory reporting & statutory compliance activities wherever applicable.
Key Accountabilities
Drive and actively contribute to the implementation of the People and ER Strategy initiatives.
Serve as the designated POSH focal point for the organization, overseeing end-to-end compliance, case management, and stakeholder coordination across all pan-India locations in adherence to the POSH Act.
Own and manage the centralized ER MIS repository, driving data integrity, trend analysis, and periodic reporting to senior leadership forums, governance committees, and regulatory stakeholders.
Proactively handle allocated employee-related investigations and conclude in a fair and appropriate manner in line with Principles of Natural Justice.
Ensure that all matters related to disciplinary / grievance are complied with the prescribed DC ‘Terms of References’
Develop and implement plans, practices, and procedures to further support senior business stakeholders and HR Relationship Managers in the handling of complex employment matters.
Periodically review all ER policies and procedures in line with regulations.
Work closely with internal legal team / external legal consultants to manage employee litigations.
Work with Business and HR colleagues and assist in embedding the HR strategy of Risk Culture and Conduct as well as high-performance.
Required Experience
Experience of at least 8 years in Employee Relations with exposure to POSH and case management preferred.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, investigative and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to handle sensitive matters with tact and diplomacy and working collaboratively across multiple business lines with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels.
Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of employment policies, practices and employment law and regulations.
Experienced in coaching, consulting and advising employees, HR and business stakeholders.
Travel as required.
Education / Preferred Qualifications
Post graduate in HR / Legal / Labour Laws qualification preferred.
