Job Responsibilities:
What you can expect
You will contribute to the development, integration and validation of advanced ADAS electronic control units and high-performance automotive computing platforms.
Define and improve system and software test strategies for highly complex ADAS ECUs
Support testing activities across relevant Automotive SPICE levels, including software integration, software qualification, system integration, system qualification and validation
Design, develop and review automated test solutions using CANoe, CAPL, Python and embedded C
Lead the analysis and resolution of complex issues involving hardware, software, operating systems, communication networks and sensor interfaces
Define and support test environments, HIL systems, network simulations, diagnostic solutions and automated regression testing
Support integration and validation of cameras, radars, ultrasonic sensors and high-speed automotive communication interfaces
Develop and improve Continuous Integration and Continuous Testing solutions
Review test specifications, test implementations, test results and technical evidence
Provide technical guidance, mentoring and hands-on support to test and integration teams
Collaborate with System, Software, Hardware, Functional Safety, Cybersecurity, Quality and Project Management teams
Drive technical standardization, reuse, automation and continuous improvement across test activities.
What you'll bring
University degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, Automation, Automotive Engineering or a comparable technical field
Several years of relevant experience in automotive system testing, software testing, integration or embedded systems
Expert-level knowledge of CANoe and CAPL scripting
Advanced knowledge of automotive communication technologies such as CAN, CAN FD, FlexRay and Automotive Ethernet
Advanced knowledge of Ethernet networking and automotive protocols such as SOME/IP, DoIP, TCP/IP and UDP
Advanced Python and embedded C programming skills
Medium-to-advanced Linux knowledge
Strong automotive hardware knowledge and practical debugging capabilities
Knowledge of high-speed and embedded interfaces such as FPD-Link, GMSL, MIPI, SPI, UART and I2C
Experience with HIL testing, preferably using dSPACE, Xylon or comparable systems
Experience with Lauterbach TRACE32 for embedded software debugging, integration and qualification testing
Advanced Git and GitHub knowledge
Experience with CI/CD and Continuous Testing environments
Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, flashing, bootloaders and measurement protocols
Understanding of Functional Safety, SOTIF and Automotive Cybersecurity concepts
Experience with automotive SoCs and microcontrollers such as NVIDIA DRIVE, Infineon AURIX, Mobileye EyeQ, Texas Instruments TDA or Sitara, Qualcomm Snapdragon Ride or comparable platforms
Experience with system performance, robustness, fault injection and recovery testing
Practical knowledge of AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot and responsible AI usage in software and test development
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities
Ability to understand complex system architectures and quickly become productive on new technologies
