PLM IT Engineer (Teamcenter)
About the role
We are looking for a PLM IT Engineer to strengthen our IT team and play a key role in developing, operating, and improving our PLM platform.
You will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for both system ownership and development, working closely with engineering and other business areas. The role combines application management, technical configuration, and continuous improvement of a business-critical platform.

Key responsibilities:
You will work hands-on with the operation, configuration, and development of Teamcenter, contributing to a stable and future-oriented PLM platform:
Manage and maintain the Teamcenter / PLM platform and ensure stable, reliable and secure operations
Configure, maintain, and further develop Teamcenter solutions
Contribute to automation, optimization, and continuous improvement of the platform
Manage and support integrations between PLM, CAD, and other enterprise systems
Participate in upgrades, testing, and release management across environments
Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and provide deep technical support
Take part in day-to-day operational tasks related to application and underlying environments
Collaborate closely with business functions, IT colleagues, and external vendors
Qualifications:
We do not expect you to know everything - relevant experience and a willingness to learn are most important.
Required:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. IT, information systems, technology, or similar), or relevant professional experience
Experience with Teamcenter or another PLM or enterprise system
Background in application management, IT operations, or technical systems
Experience with configuration, scripting, or development
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to obtain security clearance; Norwegian citizenship is required
Nice to have:
Familiarity with release processes, change management, or IT operations
Teamcenter development (BMIDE, ITK, SOA, Active Workspace)
Experience with system integrations and APIs
Knowledge of SQL and databases
Experience with CAD integrations (NX, Inventor, or similar)
