In HPE Hybrid Cloud, we lead the innovation agenda and technology roadmap for all of HPE. This includes managing the design, development, and product portfolio of our next-generation cloud platform, Green Lake. Job Family Definition:

The Cloud Developer builds from the ground up to meet the needs of mission-critical applications, and is always looking for innovative approaches to deliver end-to-end technical solutions to solve customer problems.

Brings technical thinking to break down complex data and to engineer new ideas and methods for solving, prototyping, designing, and implementing cloud-based solutions.

Collaborates with project managers and development partners to ensure effective and efficient delivery, deployment, operation, monitoring, and support of Cloud engagements.

The Cloud Developer provides business value expertise to drive the development of innovative service offerings that enrich HPE's Cloud Services portfolio across multiple systems, platforms, and applications.

Management Level Definition:

Contributions include applying intermediate level of subject matter expertise to solve common technical problems. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and recommendations for appropriate action. Works independently within an established framework and with moderate supervision.

What you’ll do:

Responsibilities:

Design and Develop cloud solutions, responsible for overall development efforts and executing program schedules

Responsible for all stages of design and development of complex integration and automation tools, including solution design, test planning, analysis, coding, testing, and debug

Project-level code and design reviews, and deliver presentations and sprint demos to key stakeholders

Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with systems design and development guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk.

Excellent communication and presentation skills; mastery of English. Collaborate with cross functional and globally remote teams for successful project completion.

Defining and driving unit testing and QA requirements for development programs

Work with platform engineers, security and architectural leads to implement, test and document the practices for automating the deployment of server platforms and solution stacks.

Deliver high quality process and service delivery improvement on these solutions, to drive better productivity, quality and outcomes of value for customers

Experience in overall architecture of software systems for products and solutions

What you need to bring:

Education and Experience Required:

BE/B.TECH in Computer Science from leading engineering institutions in India/abroad.

2-5 years of hands-on development experience building complex solutions

Technical skills

Must have strong knowledge in Go, Python, Ansible programming

Hands on experience in Linux

Hands on experience in Cloud technologies, Kubernetes and Virtualization

Good understanding of Networking and Storage technologies

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

Quick learner with adaptability to new technologies and evolving requirements

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Effective team player with a solution engineering mindset

Desirable

Demonstrated Agile SCRUM development experience and expertise

Hands-on experience with infrastructure (preferably HPE products) and platform/workload automation
