Facilities Specialist
About the role
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Facilities Specialist to join our Workplace Operations team at our NYC Headquarters. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for ensuring our 3rd and 4th-floor office spaces, conference rooms, and pantries are spotless, fully stocked, and seamlessly maintained throughout the day. You will play a crucial role in managing daily inventory, supporting corporate lunch and snack setups, receiving deliveries, and maintaining high standards across all employee workspaces.
Key Responsibilities
Facility Operations & Space Maintenance
• Morning & Evening Walkthroughs: Conduct daily opening and closing inspections across desks, phone booths, anchor points, and conference rooms to ensure strict workplace readiness and neatness.
• Floor & Pantry Maintenance: Maintain clean, organized, and functional pantry and communal areas on the 3rd and 4th floors throughout the day.
• Restroom Management: Oversee and execute regular restroom supply replenishment in the morning and evening.
• Waste Management: Perform regular garbage rotation and removal across the 3rd and 4th floors.
Food Service, Catering & Snack Operations
• Lunch Support: Coordinate catering setups and post-lunch consolidation.
• Snack & Beverage Management: Execute scheduled beverage replenishment throughout the day.
• Kitchen Maintenance: Manage 3rd-floor kitchen and pantry upkeep during peak hours.
Deliveries & Inventory Control
• Deliveries: Receive, process, and log incoming packages, shipments, and office supplies.
• Stocking & Supply Restock: Actively monitor stock levels and perform structured supply restocking across floors.
Event Setup & Clean Up
Assist with preparation, setup, and breakdown of internal events, meetings, and company functions.
Coordinate with vendors and staff to ensure spaces are reset following events.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in facilities, workplace operations, corporate hospitality, or building operations.
• Communication & Teamwork: Ability to collaborate seamlessly with a multi-person facilities team.
• Attention to Detail: Pride in keeping physical spaces clean, organized, and inviting.
• Daily Operations: Comfortable walking, standing, bending, lifting, and moving supply boxes or food service carts throughout a shift.
• Reliability: Strong punctual work ethic to ensure opening/closing routines run without delay.

Compensation: GLG is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. Certain roles may also be eligible for incentive compensation.
The anticipated hiring base salary range for this role is:
$39,000 - $55,000 USD
