The opportunity:
Associated Engineering, a proudly Canadian, Employee-owned Company is seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Engineer to join our team in our Edmonton office. In this role you will be responsible for delivering bridge and culvert projects for municipal clients.

What you’ll be doing:
You will lead with a forward-thinking approach that helps our clients solve problems and promotes the team’s development.
You will provide project management and technical support on transportation projects for public and private sector clients with a focus on bridges and culverts.
Managing designs for the replacement or rehabilitation of standard/major bridges, culverts and pedestrian bridges.
Managing teams in the preparation of drawings and contract documents and supporting designs.
Providing guidance, including mentoring, and instruction, to junior staff.
Advancing projects through the planning, concept, design, and construction phases.
Preparing technical reports, modelling and design calculations.
Engaging in a collaborative work environment with your team as well as other disciplines and offices.
Does this sound like you?
Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution.
Registered, or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer or Engineer-In-Training with APEGA.
3-5 years of progressive experience in bridge engineering within the consulting industry.
Experience working Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors is an asset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Valid driver's licence.
Ability to travel throughout Alberta.
