The Manager-Income Tax manages federal tax planning, compliance, provision, and technical tax processes related to fixed assets, leases, depreciation, gain/loss, and other book-to-tax differences. This role helps ensure accurate and timely reporting, strong internal controls, and alignment between tax planning, provision, estimates, and return results.
This position develops new tax processes and technology-enabled solutions as business transactions, tax law, and systems evolve, including changes to fixed asset and lease systems, processes, financing structures, and law changes. The Manager provides technical leadership, manages contractor and team support, coordinates with internal and external stakeholders, and translates complex fixed asset and lease tax matters into controlled, repeatable, and well-documented processes.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Strategic problem-solving ability to navigate ambiguity, synthesize complex issues, and deliver actionable solutions.
Advanced technical knowledge of federal corporate income tax laws and practical application in large, multi-entity environments.
Strong understanding of GAAP and ability to interpret complex journal entries to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance.
Working knowledge of state income tax regulations with ability to assess multi-jurisdictional impacts.
Proven leadership in developing high-performing teams and fostering collaboration across functions.
Strong communication skills for influencing and advising senior leadership through clear, concise verbal and written presentations.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools to model tax scenarios and streamline processes.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple deadlines and delegate effectively.
6+ years of corporate income tax experience, including fixed asset tax accounting or adjacent large, data-driven book-to-tax adjustments.
Must be performing satisfactorily in current position.
Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
CPA and advanced degree in Accounting/Tax preferred.
