The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining a chemical manufacturing facility as safely and efficiently as possible while maintaining strict adherence to all applicable codes and regulations. Perform corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance on research and industrial equipment in a lab and/or production environment.
The responsibilities will include:
• Installing of research and process equipment (electrical/mechanical /instrumentation/plumbing) • Relocating of equipment through assembly and dismantle procedures • Performing diagnostics and repairs on process and research equipment • Aiding in analytical troubleshooting to detect irregularities in equipment • Providing quick and innovative solutions to equipment and process malfunctions • Utilizing knowledge and skill to recognize opportunities for improvement and savings • Providing corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance on research and industrial equipment in a lab and /or production environment • Updating maintenance records in CMMS/source information from CMMS and other information systems throughout the facility • Completing equipment repair histories and spare parts consolidation
Qualifications
Required:
• Post-Secondary Education Diploma • One year of relevant experience
Desired:
• Experience working in a regulated environment
• cGMP experience an asset • CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System) experience
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Additional Details
This job has a full time weekly schedule.
The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $24.43 - $42.74/hr CAD plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
