Working with event sponsors and commercial partners to activate their presence through co-branded content, partner announcements and collaborative campaigns
Delivering stakeholder communications to clubs, venues and PGA Members - including EDMs, newsletters and engagement content
Supporting PGA Membership engagement, including communications for the PGA Institute, education programs and professional development pathways
Coordinating communications for participation programs including MyGolf, Get Into Golf and TeeMates
Leading media relations for designated projects, drafting media releases, leading journalist relationships and coordinating spokespeople
Supporting issues management, crisis communications and internal communications across both organisations
Contributing to the production of annual reports, corporate publications and organisational announcements

Tertiary qualification in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
Minimum 4 years’ experience in communications, PR, corporate affairs or journalism - ideally within sport, membership organisations or complex stakeholder environments
Demonstrated experience in corporate writing, including executive communications, speeches, media materials and stakeholder content

We hope so. Golf, like many sports, hasn’t always felt like a space where everyone sees themselves and we know that women and other underrepresented groups often hesitate to apply unless they meet every single requirement.
But at Australian Golf Services, our belief is simple: “All golf is golf, and all of us can be golfers.” That philosophy extends to our team too. We’re building an organisation where diverse voices, backgrounds and perspectives are truly welcomed and where people can bring their whole selves to the work we do.
So if this role excites you, and you feel you could contribute, even if you don’t tick every box, we’d love to hear from you. Let’s have a conversation. You might be just what we’re looking for.
