As our next Components and Services Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of the management, development, approval, and continuous improvement of components and services used in automotive electric fan manufacturing. Your expertise in plastic injection processes, supplier development, component engineering, and automotive quality systems will be critical to ensuring product performance, quality, cost optimization, and compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Develop, specify, and approve components and services used in automotive electric fan products
Perform technical evaluations of drawings, specifications, materials, and manufacturing processes
Support supplier selection, qualification, development, and performance improvement activities
Lead technical feasibility assessments for new products and engineering changes
Monitor plastic injection manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for cost, quality, and productivity improvements
Evaluate injection mold designs, thermoplastic materials, and process parameters
Participate in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, and product industrialization activities
Support failure investigations and root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methodologies
Collaborate with Quality, Production, Logistics, Purchasing, and Engineering teams to resolve technical issues
Analyze component and service costs and develop optimization strategies
Conduct supplier and service provider technical audits
Ensure compliance with customer requirements, automotive standards, and internal procedures
Prepare technical reports and executive presentations in English and Portuguese
Participate in technical meetings with customers, suppliers, and global teams
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Materials Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline
Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry
Experience in the development and management of injected plastic components
Experience in supplier development, qualification, and approval processes
Experience in engineering projects, product industrialization, and continuous improvement initiatives
Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes and automotive electrofan components
Knowledge of thermoplastic materials and plastic injection processes
Ability to interpret technical drawings and GD&T requirements
Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and Control Plans
Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Advanced English (written and spoken)
Bonus Points If You Have:
Experience with automotive cooling systems or electric fan products
Knowledge of electric motors and cooling fan modules
Experience with plastic injection mold design and development
Experience with SAP or similar ERP platforms
Knowledge of Power BI and data visualization tools
Postgraduate degree or MBA in Industrial Management, Automotive Engineering, Quality, or related areas
Spanish language skills
