About The Team

The Order To Cash Process Lead role offers an excellent global opportunity for you to help shape and drive our Finance organization to the next level. This role will be working with many functions in the organization especially the Order to Cash operations, Sales organization and Finance Directors in the Markets. In this role you will be responsible to develop robust strategies to eliminate/minimise risk whilst still supporting revenue growth and expansion of the Dyson brand. You are fully responsible to ensure that Dyson’s receivables are not subject to credit risk/losses.

You will forge strong relationships with global stakeholders and work in partnership with them to ensure the achievement of ambitious business objectives.

You will work with the OTC GPO and our Operations to translate the Dyson into operational goals, objectives, and process roadmaps to make the vision a reality. You will be involved in designing the best-in-class, well controlled and scalable processes that will eliminate/minimise risk whilst still supporting the growth and expansion of the Dyson brand. Forge strong relationships with global stakeholders and work in partnership with them to ensure the achievement of ambitious business objectives.

About The Role

The OTC Process Lead role offers an excellent opportunity to help shape and drive our Finance organization to the next level. This role will be working with many functions in the organization and designing processes that will be implemented across the globe.

In this role, you will report to the Order-To-Cash Senior Manager in Global Process Owner organization and design and implement the best-in-class OTC processes for Dyson. The goal is to design processes with adequate controls that are scalable and efficient to support the future business growth of our organization.

You will be responsible for:

Process design, Performance and Governance

Review existing processes, structures, and systems with a focus on simplifying and standardizing them.

Take full ownership of process design and implementation with a focus on reducing process costs and maximizing investment returns.

Establish clear and concise Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for processes, monitor and perform root cause analysis to ensure process performances are as expect.

Establish clear Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Reverse SLA (RSLA) and ensure that clear communication to stakeholders and that teams are able to deliver on them.

Drive detail process design, implement the change, clear communication/engagement with stakeholders on the benefits of the change.

Constantly assessing opportunities for improvement and/or expansion against business objectives and determine means to implement new and innovative technical and process based solutions.

Oversee the preparation of schedules and account analyses as requested by internal and external auditors via account/transaction analysis to satisfy internal control requirements and minimize external audit fees.

Maintain a strong focus on execution and deliver short term results and successes while moving towards the long term vision.

Being responsible and accountable for Collection Strategy

Securing resource and work with IT to build solution within S4 that meets requirements, including BRQ and BRD preparation, signing off on tests etc

Liaise with external consultants and/or IT to update systems

Benchmark shared services organization against other companies and stay abreast of process trends and leading practices to formulate strategic direction and drive continuous process improvements.

Ensure governance structure is effective and aligned with stakeholders.

Improve internal control environment to more efficiently monitor transaction risk and financial exposure.

Leadership, Relationships and Strategy

Actively engagement and lead stakeholders to embrace and adopt the globally standardized processes, with regional and local requirements customization required for legal/tax compliance.

Engage and influence stakeholders from a culturally diverse background to achieve established KPIs

Benchmark shared services organization against other companies and stay abreast of process trends and leading practices to formulate strategic direction and drive continuous process improvements.

Ensure collaboration with other Centres in the region and partners

Leading on the local Corporate Social Responsibility agenda ensuring that DBS is a valued local corporate citizen

People and Culture:

Conduct regular trainings for teams in DBS to ensure process knowledge is updated.

About You

BA/BS or MS in Accounting preferred

Extensive knowledge of accounting, reporting and analysis, acquired through related work experience in increasingly complex roles

Experience with and knowledge of S/4HANA

Expertise in MM-SD-FI integrations is an asset

Lean or Six Sigma Certification a plus.

Capable of directing the resolution of complex or unusual business problems while applying advanced analytical thought and judgment

Ability to analyse financial and operating statistics and provide meaningful feedback

Highly motivated, deadline driven, and ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing)

Have the ability to motivate and encourage a productive working environment

Comfortable working with senior leadership

Working in a fast-paced team environment with high volume activities and changing priorities

Familiar with SAP AR Module

Fluency in English – additional European language(s) would be an asset
