About the Role:
Join a leading global Oil & Gas MNC as part of the Asia Pacific & Middle East (APME) Supply Chain Management team. In this regional role, you will support procurement and category management initiatives across Joint Venture Refineries by driving market analysis, sourcing strategies, supplier performance, and stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Category Management & Strategic Sourcing
Support the development and execution of regional category and procurement strategies.
Conduct market research, supplier analysis, spend analysis, benchmarking, cost modelling, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) assessments.
Identify sourcing opportunities and develop business cases to drive cost savings and operational improvements.
Support sourcing activities, contract planning, supplier evaluations, and negotiation initiatives.
Procurement & Supplier Management
Partner with business stakeholders to develop procurement strategies aligned with operational objectives.
Monitor supplier performance and support supplier relationship management.
Collaborate with suppliers and technical teams to introduce process improvements and innovative solutions.
Support procurement activities for maintenance, operations, reliability, and capital projects.
Stakeholder Management & Project Coordination
Work closely with Procurement Managers, refinery teams, Legal, Risk, Tax, and Global Category Managers across the region.
Coordinate procurement meetings, workshops, best practice sharing sessions, and cross-functional initiatives.
Track procurement projects, action items, and key milestones to ensure timely execution.
Prepare reports, presentations, and procurement updates for management and stakeholders.
Process Improvement
Support the implementation of procurement policies, category strategies, and best practices.
Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, governance, and operational efficiency.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the regional procurement network.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Category Management.
Experience within Oil & Gas, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related industries is preferred.
Knowledge of category management, strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract management, and procurement processes.
Experience with spend analysis, market research, benchmarking, cost modelling, or Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis is advantageous.
Strong analytical, stakeholder management, project coordination, and communication skills.
Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced regional environment.
