We are looking for you as our Supervisor Housekeeping at The College Hotel.

The College Hotel is a luxurious 5* hotel and one of the hotspots in Oud-Zuid. The hotel is housed in a stylish 19th-century building, which opened as a school in 1895. You can spend the night in what used to be the math classroom, the biology classroom or maybe the economics classroom. The hotel is harmonized with “state of the art” design with respect for authenticity. Each room is unique and has its own details from the past. With the opening of Mondi in the summer of 2021, the capital has acquired a unique culinary hotspot. The fantastic location, the iconic boutique hotel The College, makes a night out for dinner extra special. The College Hotel is now a Marriott franchise which has changed its full name to:

What does your job include?

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, your main goal is to ensure guest satisfaction by overseeing and managing the daily operations within the housekeeping department. You lead by example motivating and encouraging your team while maintaining open, honest, and respectful communication. You foster a positive team spirit and create an environment where everyone feels valued and supported.

You ensure the correct and safe use of cleaning materials, equipment, and supplies to guarantee efficient and cost-effective operations, contributing directly to the hotel’s overall performance.

Your primary responsibilities include supervising and coordinating the cleaning of guest rooms and public areas, managing daily housekeeping tasks, and ensuring all areas meet Marriott’s high cleanliness and quality standards. You will also oversee the supply and inventory of materials, handle administrative tasks such as usage reports, maintenance requests, and time tracking, and drive continuous improvement within your department.

A key part of your role is to train, guide, and coach your team members ensuring that high standards of quality, hygiene, and efficiency are consistently achieved. You set the tone for excellence and make sure every guest enjoys a spotless and welcoming environment.

Flexibility is important in this role, as our Housekeeping Supervisors work in both morning and evening shifts.
