Sales and Operations Manager
About the role
Sales & Operations Manager - AI Education
Pathwise Academy | Singapore | [Full-time / Part-time - confirm]
Why this role exists
Pathwise Academy has grown from one school to a portfolio of partnerships, camps, and corporate programmes - and it's currently all running through one person. We're hiring the first Sales & Operations Manager to take ownership of both sides of that: winning new school and corporate clients, and making sure every programme that lands actually runs beautifully.
This is the role for someone who wants to build a business function, not inherit one.
About Pathwise Academy
We teach people to build with AI. Our "Young Builders" programmes take students aged 10–17 from zero to shipping real apps and AI projects. We also run adult workshops, corporate AI training, and in-school partnerships with international schools across Singapore, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia. Recent work includes multi-cohort summer camps, weekly ECA programmes, and parent education sessions at one of Singapore's largest international schools.
We're small, fast, and hands-on. What you propose on Monday can be running by the end of the month.
What success looks like
Twelve months in, you'll have added new school and corporate partnerships to the pipeline, built a repeatable enrolment process that doesn't depend on the founder, and taken day-to-day programme operations fully off his plate. You'll also be confident enough with our curriculum to step into a classroom yourself when a cohort needs covering.
What you'll do
Own the sales pipeline - identify and approach international and local schools, corporate L&D teams, and community partners; run the conversation from first meeting through signed agreement.
Write and pitch proposals - build programme proposals, quotes, and partnership decks, and present them to school leadership and corporate stakeholders.
Run programme operations - scheduling, instructor rostering, venue and materials logistics, student registration, attendance, parent communication, and invoicing.
Convert and retain families - manage enquiries, trials, and re-enrolment for our student programmes.
Teach and co-teach - deliver workshops, camp sessions, and ECA classes when needed. You won't be teaching full-time, but you do need to be able to hold a room.
Build the systems - set up and maintain the CRM, enrolment funnel, and reporting so we can see what's working.
What we're looking for
Required
2+ years in sales, business development, account management, or operations - ideally in education, edtech, events, or B2B services
Hands-on comfort with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, and similar) - you use them regularly and can explain them to someone who hasn't
Confident presenting or teaching: classroom experience, corporate training, workshop facilitation, or equivalent
Highly organised, with the judgement to run things independently in a small team
Excellent written and spoken English
Based in Singapore with existing right to work
Preferred
Experience selling into or working within international schools
Background teaching or coaching young people aged 10–17
Familiarity with tools like Claude Code, n8n/Make, ElevenLabs, or HeyGen
Mandarin or Cantonese, for our Hong Kong and regional work
Comfortable travelling between school sites across Singapore
You don't need a computer science degree or a teaching qualification. You do need genuine curiosity about AI and the confidence to learn our curriculum quickly.
Pay: $1,500.00 - $4,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
Compensation
This Sales role pays $18k-$48k/yr. Within typical range for sales roles in Singapore.
