About the role
Part-time school-hours position
2 to 3 days per week | 9:30 am to 2:15 pm
We are a friendly, established five-person managed IT services business looking for an organised and reliable Office & Accounts Administrator to support our day-to-day operations.
This is a permanent part-time position designed to fit within school hours. The role will be approximately 8.5 to 12.75 hours per week, working two or three days between 9:30 am and 2:15 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break.
The specific working days can be discussed with the successful applicant.
About the role
This is a varied administration role suited to someone who enjoys accurate data entry, keeping things organised and helping a small team run smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:
Entering invoices, expenses and other financial information into Xero Entering and maintaining information in our internal business systems Assisting with bank, account and transaction reconciliations Checking records for accuracy and following up missing information Answering and directing incoming phone calls Ordering office supplies and other items as required Assisting the business owners with occasional administrative tasks Helping organise appointments, bookings and day-to-day activities Maintaining digital records and general office documentation Supporting the team with other general office administration
There will be some occasional personal assistant and executive assistant style tasks, but these will only make up a small part of the position.
About you
You do not need technical IT experience. We are primarily looking for someone who is friendly, reliable, organised and comfortable working with data and business systems.
You will ideally have:
Strong data entry skills and excellent attention to detail A friendly, professional and helpful attitude Good organisational and time-management skills Confidence using computers and learning new systems Clear written and verbal communication skills The ability to work independently and manage routine tasks Experience using Xero or similar accounting software Previous office administration or accounts experience
Experience is helpful, but attitude, reliability and attention to detail are the most important qualities for this role.

Pay: $15,106.00 – $22,659.00 per year
