Legal Counsel - Consumer, Sydney and Melbourne

Our clients are currently seeking mid-senior legal counsels with a strong background in commercial and consumer law.

What are we looking for?

Minimum 3+ years PQE within top-tier private practice or a large in-house legal team

Strong technical experience across Commercial Law with exposure to any of the following areas; Consumer Law, Intellectual Property, Digital Commerce and/or Data Privacy

Experience in an FMCG, retail or consumer, digital product/commerce industry would be advantageous

Ability to proactively solve problems, and collaborate effectively across multiple teams

Excellent analytical, collaboration and communication skills

Demonstrated ability to learn business requirements quickly and hit the ground running, analyse legal and commercial risks and propose creative, business-oriented solutions

An ability to effectively influence both internal and external stakeholders is essential

Strong team player and service-oriented attitude

Must have full Australian working rights and be eligible to practice in Australia
