Commercial Technology Lawyer

We are currently seeking Commercial Technology Lawyers to work with a variety of Axiom's clients across a diverse selection of industries.

Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial technology agreements, including SaaS agreements, software licensing agreements, cloud services agreements, technology development agreements, vendor agreements, data processing agreements, and digital services contracts.

Advise on technology transactions and commercial contracting matters across software, platforms, digital products, AI-enabled tools, cloud solutions, apps, and emerging technologies.

Provide legal guidance on intellectual property, data protection, privacy, cybersecurity, AI, platform regulation, online services, and wider technology-related regulatory matters.

Partner with product, engineering, procurement, sales, procurement, and business teams to support technology transactions, product launches, digital initiatives, and go-to-market strategies.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience in commercial technology, technology transactions, product counselling, data privacy, intellectual property, or technology regulatory matters, gained in a law firm or in-house legal team.

Experience drafting, reviewing, or negotiating technology-related agreements, including SaaS, software licensing, cloud, vendor, digital services, technology development, or data-related contracts.

Strong understanding of technology business models, including software, SaaS, digital platforms, apps, cloud services, AI tools, or other emerging technology products.

Ability to provide practical, business-focused legal advice to commercial, product, engineering, sales, procurement, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
