Job Description
Join our IAM Portal team as an Associate Product Designer, partnering closely with a senior designer to help shape user experiences across our Identity and Access Management products. You'll contribute to user research, workflow design, wireframes, prototypes, and visual design while learning how enterprise products are built and delivered.
This is a design-first role. Strong design thinking, curiosity, and communication skills are what we are looking for in an ideal candidate.
What You'll Do
Create wireframes, mockups, user flows, and prototypes in Figma
Participate in user research activities such as interviews, usability testing, and feedback sessions
Help translate complex business processes into clear, intuitive user experiences
Apply and contribute to established design systems and UI patterns
Partner with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders throughout the design process
Iterate on designs based on user feedback, stakeholder input, and technical constraints
Support accessibility and usability best practices across products
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Graphic Design, UX, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Portfolio demonstrating both design process and final outcomes
Experience using Figma or similar design tools
Understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to receive feedback and learn quickly in a highly collaborative environment
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to user research methods such as interviews or usability testing
Experience working with design systems or component-based design
Basic familiarity with HTML/CSS and how designs are implemented
Coursework, internships, bootcamp projects, or personal work that demonstrates end-to-end product design thinking
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $71,400.00 - $84,000.00

Compensation
This Product Designer role pays $71k-$84k/yr. Within typical range for product designer roles in United States.
