About the role

The Opportunity

Help small business owners and entrepreneurs grow through the power of payments and value-added services. You will shape the strategy for our Business Card portfolio and work with a broad network of internal teams and external partners to turn customer insights into differentiated products, services and business outcomes. This is an opportunity to combine analytics, strategy, creativity and execution - and to see your ideas move from concept to market.

Role Purpose

Strengthen the customer value proposition and competitiveness of the Business Card portfolio and contribute to sustainable portfolio growth. The role identifies growth opportunities through customer, market and data insights, and leads product strategy, service and partner development, and cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution.

Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn quantitative and qualitative information into recommendations and action.

Demonstrated experience moving complex projects forward by aligning multiple stakeholders and managing priorities in an evolving environment.

A customer-first and commercially minded approach, with a strong sense of ownership for results.

Excellent communication skills in Japanese, plus the willingness and practical foundation to collaborate with global stakeholders in English.

Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and executive-ready communication.

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of experience in one or more of the following: product management, marketing, business planning, business development, strategy or consulting.

Experience in financial services, payments, cards, FinTech, SaaS, platforms or B2B services.

Knowledge of product economics, unit economics, P&L, pricing or portfolio management.

Experience in alliances, partnerships, commercial negotiations or joint propositions.

Experience improving products or services through customer research, data analysis, experimentation or KPI design.

Experience conducting meetings, presentations or written communication in English.
