Warehouse chief

As a Warehouse Chief you will ensure the availability of human, technological, warehouse facility, and financial resources to help coordinate the supply chain for distribution, with a customer-focused approach.

You will work #LI-Onsite reporting to the warehouse manager in our distriboution center located in Iztacalco.

Main Responsibilities

You will manage work teams to ensure customer requirements are met throughout the supply chain and distribution process, while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

You will align tasks with strategic goals, both individually and collectively, and increase performance against established KBIs and Indicators related to the organizational structure.

You will review and coordinate with Human Resources to maintain the approved workforce required for daily operations, including staffing and recruitment activities.

You will maintain health, safety, hygiene, and security standards within the distribution center to safeguard the physical well-being of employees.

You will accomplish daily supply chain operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and product delivery, while maintaining inventory integrity following established goals and performance standards.

You will manage the annual budget to cover operational expenses, coordinating daily warehouse activities and ensuring appropriate allocation of OPEX and CAPEX expenditures based on the nature of each expense.

You will guide projects to optimize inventory control, manage obsolete, slow-moving, and soon-to-expire products, reduce obsolescence risks, and maintain inventory accuracy and reliability following our goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree completed in Business Administration, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in inventory and warehouse management, including management of personnel.

Intermediate English proficiency.

Microsoft Office skills: Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency (formulas, pivot tables).
